Needed to keep DHCP log on windows server 2012 R2

Hello Member

  I would like keep DHCP log file to the syslog server , I need information about IP distribute to client , MAC-Address,

Computer name , Username(If Any) .  Please help to advise me . I have syslog server already.

I find on website get the information about syslog agent for windows event log.

For your issue is about syslog server, I suggest that you could post it to Syslog server for getting efficient support.

In addition, you could save and view DHCP log by following the steps below:

Open DHCP manager, and then right-click IPv4, enable DHCP audit logging at General tab.

You could check and configure log path at Advanced tab.

Yes, I configure Enable DHCP audit loging already. But i can't send the log file to syslog server . to Analyze

Hi. You can use event forwarding to send and receive events from any computer or server to any server.
