The system failed to register host (A or AAAA) resource records (RRs) for network adapter
with settings:
Adapter Name : {C3EF8C4D-1EEB-4053-9412-2964AE563396}
Host Name : Lyncedge102prv
Primary Domain Suffix : contoso.com
DNS server list :
4.2.2.2, 8.8.8.8
Sent update to server : <?>
IP Address(es) :
2002:a04c:913::a04c:913, 2002:a04c:914::a04c:914, 2002:a04c:915::a04c:915
The reason the system could not register these RRs was <g class="gr_ gr_13 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace" data-gr-id="13" id="13">because</g> the update request <g class="gr_ gr_9 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del" data-gr-id="9" id="9">it</g> sent to the DNS server timed out. The most likely cause of this is that the DNS server authoritative for the name it was attempting to register or update is not running at this time.
You can manually retry DNS registration of the network adapter and its settings by typing '<g class="gr_ gr_10 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling" data-gr-id="10" id="10">ipconfig</g> /<g class="gr_ gr_11 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling" data-gr-id="11" id="11">registerdns</g>' at the command prompt. If problems still persist, contact your DNS server or network systems administrator.

I have one test LAB for my Lync 2013 I have 2 servers which I place in DMZ zone on those servers I have 2 NIC one is facing internal and another is facing externally.
in internal nic I don't have any gateway and DNS is configured.
BUt in external nic, i have configured all the Public IP and in DNS I have mentioned (4.2.2.2) and (8.8.8.8) but that nic is not properly communicating.
both the server is in VM ware Virtual Machine.
When i check the Server Event Logs i found below Error in System Event Logs.

Hi ,
Each Edge Server is a multihomed computer with external and internal facing interfaces. The adapter Domain Name System (DNS) settings depend on whether there are DNS servers in the perimeter network. If DNS servers exist in the perimeter, they must have a zone containing one or more DNS A records for the next hop server or pool (that is, either a Director or a designated Front End pool), and for external queries they refer name lookups to other public DNS servers. If no DNS servers exist in the perimeter, the Edge Server(s) use external DNS servers to resolve Internet name lookups, and each Edge Server uses a HOST to resolve the next hop server names to IP addresses.
On the external interface, configure three static IP addresses on the external perimeter network (also known as DMZ, demilitarized zone, and screened subnet) subnet, and point the default gateway to the internal interface of the external firewall. Configure adapter DNS settings to point to a pair of perimeter DNS servers.
