Hi,
Would you please provide more information of your Office? Please go to File > Account > Product Information, check the product name and the version. And I have some questions according to your descriptions.
- Does this issue occur with other PowerPoint presentations in Mandarin Language? Or just with this one?
- Are there any more error messages when the issue occurs? If so, please share to me for further analysis.
- Have you installed the Chinese language and any Chinese fonts in Windows before?
Generally, we could save PowerPoint presentations as PDF files via Export. We could also try Print function to have a check. Please go to File > Print > Choose Microsoft Print to PDF in Printer > Click Print.
If the issue also occurs with Print function, please try other options when saving presentations as PDF. Such as the PDF options like the following picture.
In addition, you could run PowerPoint in safe mode to check if the issue still exists. Type “powerpnt /safe” in Run dialog, and test save presentations as PDF. The safe mode could rule out the Add-ins.
If you have any updates, please feel free to let me know.
Best Regards,
Emily
