When running startup repair, sfc /scannow, dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth, Windows upgrades, etc. there are log files that can be viewed.
1) What is the name and path for the log file for a failed Windows reset save files?
2) What is the name and path for the log file for a failed system restore?
Are there Microsoft doc files that explain the files saved?

For first question:

To know more about the real cause of Windows failed to reset, you can open an elevated command prompt and the run “dir c:\ /a:sh” (without quotes). Then you will see a $SysReset folder on the root directory of your C: drive.
Open the file C:\SysReset\Logs\Setupact.log to read the log of Reset My PC to see what the issue is. Based on what issues you are facing, select the corresponding solution.
