I am getting many email alerts about infection notice about Cute PDF Writer, the software is not a malware and maybe it knows it is not a threat because Remediation action says NoAction.

How do I make it stop? because it is not doing anything with it so I get this alerts everyday!

At one time, Cute Pdf was packing adware into the product, hence why it could be flagged.  I am not sure if there is a clean version of it out there.  You would need to look at the forums.  You can exempt the file or the Virus it is detecting but that is a security/policy action that would need to approved before you take that risk.

Check to see if you have the latest version.  Submit the file to MS for detection or other VirusScore sites to have it scanned and see what they say.

Hi,

Agree with Matthew Hudson, Safety is the most important.

If you are sure it is safe, you could configure a custom “Exclusion settings” to stop the email alerts. (e.g. below screenshot)
