where is DHCP cache?

hi

i have a windows server 2003 and DHCP on that

my client is windows xp and gets ip from that

then i removed DHCP

the client keeps IP for 8 days and then release the ip

i wanna know where windows xp keeps that ip address cache ?

Hi,

The TCP IP configuration (including ip "cache") stored in the following registry path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ Tcpip \ Interfaces \ Interface GUID
