Through some windows 2008 R2 servers, I can't access a windows 2003 server by host name. Only by FQDN or IP address.
When i reboot the workstation service, I access. After a period, the problem returns.

I can Ping hostname, ip and FQDN.

DNS Sufix ok.

Netbios enable.

Is your DNS server 192.168.1.15 AD integrated? I also see you have different Defauklt gateway for w2k3 192.168.1.1 and w2k8 r2 192.168.1.254. Figure which is correct and adjust yur servers accordingly.

Hi AMNoronha,

As Isaac asked, do you have two gateways/routers on your network? It shows servidow-win07 is using 192.168.1.1, and servidor-win12 is using 192.168.1.254. Can you elaborate on this configuration, please?

Are you having this problem within the network at the office, or while connecting through a VPN?

Are the two DNS IP addresses, 192.168.1.15 & 192.168.1.32 both domain controllers? If so, as Isaac asked, is the empresa.local zone AD integrated?

For DNS, I see that servidor-win07 is only using 192.168.1.15. Why does it not have 192.168.1.32 as well like servidor-win12?

Consistency is a key part of a network design, which makes me a bit confused on why the different gateways and the different DNS settings.
