Question
Wednesday, November 30, 2016 10:41 PM
Last night when shutting down my laptop, I *think* I accidentally pressed "log out" instead of "shut down". Today when I boot up and type in my password, I get a blue screen with a box in the corner that says "You've been signed in with a temporary profile. You can't access your files and files created in the profile will be deleted when you sign out. To fix this, sign out and try signing in later. Please see the ev".
I have tried shutting down and restarting several times but to no avail.
It would seem that since I logged out, all I need to do is log back in, but I cannot find a way to do that, nor can I find a quick and easy solution.
I can look at my stuff in the user folder so I *think" it's all there. But I need to access my stuff and need help. HELP!

Hi Amy Luu,
It seems that present user account has been corrupted.
We could refer to S.Sengupta`s link to check whether there is a .bak registry existed. If there is one existed, we could delete it then login again.
If the issue persists, we could refer to the following link to fix the corrupted user account.
Fix a corrupted user profile in Windows 7(The steps should be applied to the later version, too)
