I have noticed an issue in Quick access where the Desktop folder points to C:\Users\Default\Desktop instead of C:\Users\username%\Desktop. Is there a way to correct this behavior?
Thanks,
Chris

Chris,
Type in Run (WinKey+R) or in the File Explorer Address bar.
shell:::{B4BFCC3A-DB2C-424C-B029-7FE99A87C641}
Does the real desktop show up?

Hi CG,
This Quick Access display fine on my two Windows 10 lab computers.
Please right click it to unpin from Quick access and navigate to C:\Users\username%\Desktop, right click it to pin it to Quick Access again to check the result.

We're seeing the exact same issue on Windows 7 Pro machines upgraded to Windows 10 1511.
Happens on old profiles as well as new ones.
We're finding that Windows 10 Pro really is a buggy mess and are regretting having upgraded some of our business PCs with it.

This info might help.

Wow, I just had this problem in windows 10 1703 on a new 2017 imac running bootcamp. I don’t even use copyprofile. This folder doesn't exist on my pc image.
rmdir /s /q C:\Users\Default\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations

I see this happen on 2016 with RDS profiles and on one occasion I forgot to update the quick link desktop folder on 2 separate profiles so they ended up getting mixed together resulting in some privacy concerns. It would be good to have a permanent fix rather than a work around.
