The links have not worked in Event Viewer for awhile, just searching with the info.
Does AppFollower appear in Add Remove Programs (Start > Settings > Apps, Programs and Features on the right)? If so click it to select it, does a Repair option appear on the Toolbar? If so try that.

Hi,
Event Server is not available for Windows 10 Events online help. Anyway, AppFollower.exe is non-Microsoft product.
Here I suggest you reinstall and run it in compatible mode for test.
If the issue persists, please understand that Microsoft has the very limited resources about the third party program. You may contact the program developer for assistance.
Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help.

AppFollower.exe is part of an audio driver package from Conexant that is common on HP laptops and perhaps other computers. You may want to visit your hardware vendor's website for updated audio drivers to address this issue.
