Question

We intend to use RDLC to develop our web system for our client.
I already got the information that it is free report and there is no need to buy any license.
Hence when we distribute our application for commercial purpose, they will go with it WITHOUT ANY ISSUE.
Could you please confirm our acknowledge whether it is right or not ?
Thank you for supporting us always,
Tuan

Hi Tuan,
Yes, that it is free report and no need to buy any license.
The Report Designer is part of the Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools in visual studio 2015 installation. Visual Studio 2017 does not have it installed by default. We need to install the extension Microsoft Rdlc Report Designer for Visual Studio 2017, but it is still free to use.
Best regards,
Joyce
