Does anybody know where i can download the specific version of this file  Microsoft.VC90.CRT version="9.0.30729.6161". i want to run an application and it fails with

Activation context generation failed for "". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC90.CRT,processorArchitecture="amd64",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="9.0.30729.6161" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

I have installed other version of the vcredist_x86 but it wount work.

I found a PC with the right version and it works, but no one knows the vcredist_x86 file that contains this version.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Welcome to the MSDN forum.

VC90 means VC++ 2008 edition. And for the specific package download, please refer to systemx's link.
