Using MS Office Home and Business 2013 in Windows 8.1 running on a HP Envy 1420a. It has done it from the beginning occasionally when it was 1st installed but it seems to have got much worse. I have to restart the Computer to access Outlook again. It crashes if I try to do any copying and pasting from any application; typically if I try to copy the text of an old email into a new email or copy a web address from IE to and Outlook mail message.

Hi,
First, please make sure you have installed all Windows/Office updates. If not please do so, then try again to see if issue persists.
Then, please try to copy and paste with plain text to see if issue occurs.
This could also be caused by some Add-Ins. I would suggest you to start Outlook in Safe mode to check behaviors. Outlook in safe mode means no add-ins gets loaded. See the steps below:
- Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run
- Copy and paste the following content and press Enter: Outlook.exe /safe
If Outlook works okay then an add-in is definitely the problem. Use the following steps to disable add-ins and Com-in Adds.
- Click File menu > Options >Add-in, click Go button in the Manage: Com-in Add
- Check if there is any add-in, clear the checkbox to disable it.
You might also need to do a Windows clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 to see if this issue is caused by application or service interferences.

Yes disabling the ICQ add in seems to have fixed it. Thanks.
