Hi Guys,

I have a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter with the latest firmware (v2.0.08372) but I want to know where I can find what kind of updates (bugs, fixes)  bring in the latest firmware.

Thanks

Regards,

Hi Guilherme Braga,

For the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter update issue, the Wireless Display Adapter app for Windows 10 provides settings and firmware updates for Microsoft’s Wireless Display Adapter, which enables televisions without Miracast support built-in to receive projected displays from suitably equipped PCs and smartphones.

We could not check the detailed information about the KB, we can’t really confirm if there are any new features or not. but we could try update the app. This app provides settings and firmware updates for the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter.

Hope it will be helpful to you

Whatever it is it is not being offered for my MicrosoftDisplayAdapter_44.  It seems to be stuck at 1.3.8365

BTW looks like you can be glad that you don't have the equivalent build for your version

MS is a big mess; set display to duplicate, blutooth and everything set to the correct setup, you still cannot upgrade the V1 or V2 when there is no successful connection to the Adapter. Why should anybody try to do updates if it works anyway? No need to search for alternatives as there is not even one program foreseen by them, guess what you just gotta stop paying the BiLL and switch to other products. Send that hardware back to the seller and tell em to update the firmware for you, because they know this is the worst concept ever released! Maybe this helps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNQs3ONcKwc or https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-us/support/troubleshooting/adapters/common-issues

Good LUCK, you definitely will need it when working with Microsoft and their Edge Spam “support websites”.

The app didn't show any details besides the firmware version. Change log of the firmware(s) would definitely be helpful.
