Question

Hi Techies,
we want to enroll windows 10 devices to AzureAD using provisioning Packages.we have gone through the Microsoft Article where it's mentioned that we can enroll windows 10 version 1709 to AzureAD using ppkg.
but there's some problem, we were facing while creating the Ppkg as getting the error Bulk token retrieval failed.
further we have found from one MS article,it's not supported for Desktop Wizard.
Has anyone tried to perform the AzureAD join to windows 10 Devices? Is it supported for Bulk or single computer using Provisioning Package? Please let me know.
Thanks in Advance!!

Hi JiteshKumar,
What's your device model?
As the official article says, it is not support for desktop Wizard if you are using Windows 10 laptop or desktop device.
If you want to enroll Azure AD on multiple Windows 10 devices, I recommend to use Windows AutoPilot, There is no need to setup computer one by one that is not like provisioning package enrollment which needs to logon device with local account at first.

Thanks Joy!
There's no specific list of the devices,we just wanted to enroll all the devices which is having Windows 10 Version 1709.
Is it not possible to enroll Azure AD on single\ Bulk Computers using Provisioning Packages?

Hi,
Thank you for your quick reply.
Yes, there is not list for the device, but please see the following words: Resource: Use Windows Configuration Designer to configure Windows 10 Mobile devices
So I suspect it only apply to Mobile device.
However, as the limited of our test environment, there is no mobile device or Azure AD privilege for testing on our side. So I can't certainly say if the article is antiquated.
So I recommend to use Windows AutoPilot as a workaround, at least it is easy and convenient to configure enrollment.

Hi JiteshKumar,
Would you provide your device model?
By the way, the error message "Bulk token retrieval failed" might be caused if there are no more licenses available for Azure AD Premium and Microsoft Intune.
We could try to purchase additional licenses for the tenant, or removing any unneeded licenses from unused package users.

Thanks Joy for following this! sorry for the late response..
currently we were using the Surface Pro\Dell .Talking about error message "Bulk Token Retrieval Failed". I'm not getting any options for entering the Azure AD credentials. As per the Blog Post when I'll generate the Bulk Token then only I'll get an options to enter the credentials which will join the devices to Azure AD.
that's why I don't think there's any issue with subscriptions part.!!
In the Device Name Tab, I'm assigning the device name randomly with Serial Number.
Can you please help me to clear these things? or Is there any other way to enroll windows devices using Provisioning Packages.
Thanks!!

Hi JieshKumar,
I would apologize for my late reply.
*"I'm not getting any options for entering the Azure AD credentials. " *
The Azure AD credential window will pop-up if you could successfully get bulk token. However, as you got error message at this step, you can't step in to the next section.
Did you try the suggestion I posted upper?(purchase additional licenses for the tenant, or removing any unneeded licenses from unused package users. )
Regarding for your action result.

Apologize for late response. I didn't get the licence, Is there any alternative way to perform this?

Hi JieshKumar,
Available licenses for Azure AD Premium and Microsoft Intune is necessary to move on. I am afraid there is no official way to bypass or skip it.

And how the hell should the license be checked before entering credentials?
