Where is Visual Studio 2012 update 5 download?

Hi all.

I need the last update for Visual Studio 2012 (Update 5) as a prerequisite for another software. I've tried to download from Microsoft website but the link seems to be offline.

The VS 2012 Update 5 resource is indeed no longer available on the website. But if you are an MSDN download subscriber, you could download it from:

Sorry, but even MSDN (now my.visualstudio.com) does not offer the vs2012 update 5. The search result still shows the line visual Studio 2012 update 5 but with a neverending "loading" beneath. So I had to use a 3rd Party Website like http://down.cdhaha.net/?p=841 which I do not prefer to do. But since Microsoft seemed to have deleted the updates to vs2012 .... I had no choice.

At least isn't it possible to provide md5 values for vs2012 iso files? We can download from elsewhere and check if it is altered with these checksums?

That site appears to merely redirect to a broken link at download.microsoft.com

However, the actual visualstudio.com link can by found at my.visualstudio.com/Downloads?pid=1862

You only need look here for 2010 - 2015:  https://www.visualstudio.com/vs/older-downloads/

I think Microsoft has disabled updates externally. 

You can now find product updates through Visual Studio interface

Menu > TOOLS > Extensions and Updates > ProductUpdates
