How to change RDP setting by default (use multi monitor all the times) ?

Question

Sunday, June 14, 2020 9:54 AM

Hello,

in windows 10, where can i change the value (reg / gpo) to change the default when i open rdp, i want to use all the times with multi monitor.

I want every time I open RDP to the computer, the "use all my monitors for the remote session" markup will be set to multi-screen unless I remove the V (Check Box).

It is currently reversed, and only if it is marked with V, and if I do not, it will only display on one screen

i know the command mstsc /multimon but some rdp link are open automatically & i can't put this parameters so i need to change the default options.

Thanks

Hi,

Could you please confirm how did you start the remote connection and the rdp files?

Basically there are three methods to enable "use all my monitors for the remote session":

1. Click “Use all monitors for the remote session” in the client (mstsc.exe) window

2.Use the “/multimon” switch on the mstsc.exe command line

3.Add “Use Multimon:i:1” to the RDP file

You may try either of the above methods to achieve the multi-monitors depending on your environment.

Hope this will be helpful.

Thanks,

Jenny
