How to right click on file and run script on it?

Question

Let me preface this by saying I am coming from the MacOS world.  I was waiting for the new 15" Macbook Pro, and Apple disappointed, immensely.  The new model has no SD card slot, no RJ45 port, no HDMI port, and no USB 3/2 port.  It has 4 USB-C ports, and that's it.  Is Apple insane?  They expect me to pay $2,700 for a laptop lacking all this?  I've been using Macs for about 7 years, but am totally fed up with Apple!  I ordered an HP Envy laptop with 16GB of RAM, 512GB SSD drive, core i7 processor, and all the ports I need!  All for only $1,099!

The reason I mention coming from MacOS (besides venting) is that I'm trying to duplicate certain functionality I have with MacOS under Windows 10 Pro.  One of the things I do is create services using automator, which allows me to perform actions on files and or folders.  These services are included in the context menu when I right click a file or folder.  For example, I can right click on a .jpg file and select an option from the context menu which will execute a script that converts the size to 667 x 1000.  In another case I can right click on a photo and copy it to my "Favorites" folder.  I've been doing some research on this functionality, and I've read about things like "PowerShell Here" options, and registry editors which allow you to create context menu items.

So my question is, how can I right click on a .jpg file, and run my ImageMagic script on that file, which runs the convert command?  Also, can I highlight a number of files in File Explorer and execute a script on them?

-Thanks
