My spell check always checks everyone else's replies to an email when I'm forwarding or replying to an email. Not only is this a nuisance as they aren't my errors, the correction can also look insulting to others that are part of the email. Is there a way to tell Outlook to just look at what I'm currently typing?

Hi,
You could follow these steps to check this checkbox to cancel this function:
1. Click FILE tab, select Options;
2. Select Mail tab from the navigation on the left;
3. Under Compose message section, check the checkbox of Ignore original message text in reply or forward.
4. Restart the Outlook.
Best regards,

Hi ,
I am having the same issue with many users who recently received a Microsoft update and I did exactly what is described in this response to make the spell check stop. Does not work and is still checking email replies and forwarded emails. How can I make it stop?
