I've got a Win 10 Home tablet that needs some access to network files. I'm searching for a work-around, so that I don't have to go out and buy Win 10 Pro. Can I set up a workgroup on the server without interfering with the current domain?
Specifically, one of the goals of the tablet is to be able to use Access Runtime to work with a database stored on the network.

You can access a domain file share by the normal \servername\sharename and enter a domain username and password that has access. The users name would be DOMAINNAME\Username then the password. Depending on you DNS setup you may need to use the IP address of the server for the home machine to find it.

That worked.
Thank you.
