Hi,

I also try using Windows 2012 R2 Datacenter with another Cloud services and in East US, it give me the same problem. A day before I was able to create VM activation was already done.

I have try the fix publish online but failed.

Hi,
Thanks for your question.
In general, Azure VMs are activated after created by default, maybe your VM is running into a known activation issue. This issue is currently being investigated and sorry for the inconvenience. You may try to delete the VM and recreate it in a different region to see if the problem goes away.
Also, please note that activation status does not impact the services running on the server. Not activating will generate persistent notifications reminding you to activate the server. Services and remote administration are not affected.

I ran into this issue on 3 machines recently, saw this article, but didn't want to delete/re-add machines.

Ended up re-keying the AVMA Product key from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn303421.aspx and rebooted, all was fine afterwards.

Hope that helps.

Thanks.
