3D Maps encountered an error....Code: 4

I have found all kinds of answers for this, but not one that works. Ever since a Windows update back in the August/November time frame, I get this error in a spreadsheet I created and up date for tracking my work trip info. Anyone know what I can do to fix it? This is only when I go to "Insert" then "3D map"

3D Maps encountered an error while contacting Michrosoft Bing Mapping services. Functionality may be limited. (Status Code: 4)

Hi,

Which version of Office are you using now? Does this issue occur with Bing Maps app when you click Insert > Bing Maps app in Add-ins?

Creating new maps, or appending data to existing maps requires an online connection (to connect to the Bing Map service).

Maybe you could try the following steps.

1. Go to File > Options > Trusted Center > Trusted Center Settings > Privacy Options. For Office 365, please go to Privacy Settings, check the box of "Enable optional connected experiences".
2. Disable the security software temporarily, such as Firewall, Defender.
3. Repair Office.
4. Create a new administrator account. For Windows 10, please refer to "Create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10".
