Mouse highlights disappear

When I try to highlight something with my mouse, the item (text, logo, file name, etc) disappears as I 'click' and I'm left guessing as to where it is.

Hi Farmer Clears,

At first, we need to check the mouse itself, maybe the left button exist problem, it can’t respond your pressing, try another mouse to see the result. Meanwhile, make sure mouse has a correct connection to computer.

After this, restart computer in the clean boot mode.

So a left click will select another area, so unselect what is selected. A right click on the already selected area gives a context menu, right click on a plain area unselects.

So can you explain the issue you are seeing a bit better? What program \ browser \ website etc and what you are doing and what is the expected result.
