Hi Prasanna T,

Welcome to the MSDN forum.

I want to ask some questions about your issue.

What is the detail error message when installing?
Do you mean you meet "error 1935" when installing? What's your OS version detail? Windows 7 x64 or Windows 7 x32?

You can perform the steps below to solve your problem:
    -         Remove all residual part of the failed VC# installation, go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Uninstall a program, find and uninstall all the items been installed together with VS2008.
    -         Refer to your control panel, open Programs and Features, view installed updates; you will find that Visual C++ 9.0 runtime was listed there. Uninstall them also.
    -         Then Install Visual C++ 2008 with Administrator privilege (Right-click the installer -> Run as administrator)
If this still fails, follow the steps listed on the page you mentioned and show me the logs.
You can share the logs to us on Skydrive, also you can send the vslogs.cab to me (Email: [email protected] )

Note: Please attach the link of this post in the mail.
