Installing visual studio 2005 on windows 10?

Is it possible to install Visual Studio 2005 on Windows 10 machine? if yes, please let me know which one supports; VS 2005 Professional?

Hi,
I suppose Visual Studio 2005 could be installed in Windows 10.
But I'm wondering why you make a choice of the latest Visual Studio, i.e. 2017.  Are there any reasons to use VS 2005?

Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.

Visual Studio 2005 is not supported by Windows 10 OS and no longer supported by MS. Nor are any updates for Visual Studio 2005 supported for Win 10 OS. I believe that Win 8.1 would be last OS that VS 2005 could be installed on perhaps. Why you need to make a requirement for Visual Studio 2005  installed on Windows 10?

How about considering the latest version, such as VS 2017 from Downloads page.

Hi Vijay,

I also suggest you use the higher VS version since VS2005 was really old version. We also have no VS2005 Environment to really test it in our side, but it would have some compatibility issues even if you could install it in your windows 10, so please use the higher VS version like VS2015 or VS2017.
