Hello, i don't like "word wrap" for some reasons, but horizontal scroll is not working... it is very annoying.

Any solution? Thank you.

Hi,

We can set and clear the Word wrap option. When this option is set, the portion of a long line that extends beyond the current width of the Code Editor window is displayed on the next line. When this option is cleared, for example, to facilitate the use of line numbering, you can scroll to the right to see the ends of long lines.

Horizontal scroll with Shift/Alt +mouse wheel is not working in my VS2012/VS2013 Code Editor. I did some search and did not find such combined keyboard shortcut for Visual Studio.

If you don’t use ‘Word wrap’, I am afraid that you have to scroll to the right manually.

If you think such keyboard shortcut is important, you could submit this feature request:

The Visual Studio product team is listening to user voice there. You can send your ideas/suggestions there and people can vote.

Thanks for your understanding.

I too would really like this feature. Scrolling sideways is a real pain in VS and simple in many other apps/platforms.

There's a user voice issue for this that you and others can vote on.

I also wonder whether this would be a simple VS add-in for the extension gallery.

en Visual Studio 2017 en las opciones de Herramientas - Opciones - Editor de Texto - Todos los lenguajes - General y en las opciones de configuración generar deshabilitar la opción "Ajustes de linea"
