Hi,
According to your description, please refer to the following steps for troubleshooting:
- Make sure you are using the correct name for the upstream WSUS server and that you have spelled it correctly. To determine if there is a problem with network name resolution services, use the ping command from the downstream WSUS server that cannot synchronize.
- The firewall on the WSUS server is configured to allow inbound traffic on HTTP port 8530 and HTTPS port 8531.
- If the BITS service was disabled during synchronization, synchronization will fail. To ensure that the BITS services is properly enabled, restart both the BITS service and the WSUS service.
- If a synchronization has failed, in the WSUS administration console, go to the Synchronizations node, and in the middle pane select the failed synchronization.

upstream name mentioned correctly
firewall configured and inbound traffic allowed both the ports
Bits service already enabled.
Please find attached image, few places new updates are downloaded, it works only 10 to 11% then goes ideal with error

Hi,
The following two steps may help you:
- Make sure that this WSUS downstream server has KB2919355 and KB3159706 installed. Or have installed the latest monthly rollup update.
- Please refer to the contents mentioned in this thread, check if the port communication is open normally, and try to increase the private memory limit of the WSUS application pool: "WSUS Sync failing on SUP Replica."
