Where does Edge store tab sites that are open, so it can open them on restart?

Question

One of the tabs I had open in Edge appears to be a malware site which has hijacked Edge. After closing Edge with Task Manager, when I reopen Edge, it immediately opens all the tabs, and the tab with malware immediately hijacks Edge again. How can I delete that site from the list that Edge will reopen when it starts?

I believe they will be under

C:\Users\username%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC

So

C:\Users\username%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\MicrosoftEdge\User\Default\Recovery\Active

is my guess and works for me. If I delete those files after task ending Edge it opens a blank \ new session.

Hope you get rid of your little bug, also i might suggest Firefox, or Chrome..

Make sure that it didn't add it to your Home sites. Ellipses | Settings check under Open with settings.
