Your IMAP server wants to alert you to the following: Email is too large, limit size to less than 30MB

Question

I'm getting the following message sending an email with a 12MB or 44MB attachment.

Your IMAP server wants to alert you to the following: Email is too large, limit size to less than 30MB

Any idea where to fix this?  Godaddy says it's 'my problem' I've gone into the reg and set maximumattachmentsize to unlimited in

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\x.0\Outlook\Preferences

**But I still get the message. I do have AD running but it's used currently to allow people in the network with no real setup. Im on Server 2008 R2 all stations use Win7 Pro. Tried on two different stations and have the same results. **

Thank you for any direction.

Suggest you read through the following threads - particularly the first one in terms of GoDaddy policies regarding email message size. That message is one being returned from the server - not something that Outlook just made up.
