Question

I am trying to push a DPI setting to a new Panasonic laptop running Win10 1903. We have an application that requires 100% scaling, so we want to push the setting via GPO Preferences.
Under User Config – Preferences, I created/edited 2 reg keys:
Hkcu\control panel\desktop\logpixels, set it to 96 (decimal)
Changed the Win8DpiScaling key to 1
We want this setting to only apply when a user logs into a laptop, so I linked the policy to the Computer’s OU.
I created a Loopback policy in Merge mode & linked it to the Computer’s OU.
I scoped the DPI policy to a test laptop & a test user
When I reboot the laptop & log in as the user, the policy is getting applied because I can see the settings in the registry, however when I look at the Display Settings, the Scale & Layout is set to 175% & it is grayed out.
What am I missing?? Thanks!

Resolved: I found that on the first Display dialog box under Settings, it shows 175% & is grayed, however under Advanced Scaling Settings, it shows set to 100 & the application is working correctly.
