Guys,
I am trying to make this as easy as possible for my helpdesk. On some computers we can only access them by IP address. For them to remote via SCCM I believe the only option is to run the cmrcviewer from the command line WITH the IP address. Is this the simpliest way for them to remote control using SCCM ? Also , is there any batch file that will prompt for an ip address ? I dont want the helpdesk having to find the directory to run this from everytime and I dont want to give them a shortcut.

Why not simply let them start cmrcviewer.exe and use File > Connect. That's as easy as it is to provide a computer name or ip address. Even a helpdesk should be able to do that.
