Question
Thursday, September 20, 2018 4:14 PM
I am using Windows 10 Home edition.
The top part of my browser gets cut off. I essentially lose everything above the address bar. It used to only happen with Edge, but has now happened in Chrome as well.
The portion that gets cut off sometimes is a gray bar, sometimes a black bar, and sometimes that portion of the desktop. I inserted a print screen where the top part of the browser was replaced with a black bar.
When I reboot, the browsers usually work fine. But I would like to resolve the problem without having to reboot.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hello,
If two different browsers have the same situation, I consider it may be related to your system files or graphics driver or screen resolution.
Depending on the model of your machine, you could download the video card driver from the manufacturer official website to reinstall.
Open Display Settings in Settings, under Resolution, try to change.
Use the Windows key + X keyboard shortcut to open the Power User menu and select Command Prompt (Admin).
Type the two commands “sfc /scannow” and “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” to repair system files.
If the issue still insists, type “winver” in Search Bar, then check the system version and OS build.
If the system is Windows 1803, you could update to KB4458469 (OS Build 17134.319) to check.
Hope it could be helpful.
