Hi JP JeyaPrakash,
Because this issue is about Visual Studio installation, I moved this thread to Visual Studio Setup and Installation forum which is a correct forum for resolving your issue.

Hi JP JeyaPrakash,
Thank you for your feedback!
Please try to install Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 from official website:http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 Please download the x86 version to install. If this can't work, please try below :
Confirm that you have the required trusted root certificates installed.
1. Go to Start and type 'certmgr.msc' to launch the Microsoft Management console Certificate Manager.
2. Under Certificates - Local Computer, expand the Trusted Root Certification Authority folder.
3. Click the Certificates folder. Verify that Microsoft Root Certificate Authority 2010 and Microsoft Root Certificate Authority 2011 are both present.
If it isn't a certificates issue, please check if you have Windows App Certification Kit x64-x86_en-us.msp and Windows App Certification Kit Native Components-x64_en-us.msp exist in your PC. If you can't find them, please download them:
- Windows App Certification Kit x64-x86_en-us.msp ( http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=283370&clcid=0×409)
- Windows App Certification Kit Native Components-x64_en-us.msp (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=283372&clcid=0×409)
Open an administrative CMD window and navigate to the location of the 2 files and install the two packages like this blog said.
At last, install Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4 from :http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679
Best regards

Hi Anna Cc,
Thanks for your reply..
1. Downloaded and Installed VC++ for visual studio 2012 from the link you have sent, but it returns the same error " 0x800700e8 The Pipe is being closed"
2. Confirmed that trusted root certificates has been installed as you mentioned
3. Downloaded and installedWindows App Certification Kit ,but it returns
The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program. Verify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch.
Please note that we are trying to install on Windows server 2003 machine and
and suspecting vc_runtimeMinimum_x86.msi, arguments: ' MSIFASTINSTALL="7" NOVSUI="1"' may be the cause for this error.
please help to resolve this issue

Hi JP JeyaPrakash,
>>Verify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch.
Perhaps you have a higher version installed in your PC that cause this issue. Perhaps you didn't get a correct update path. You can try to reinstall Windows App Certification Kit x64-x86_en-us.msp and Windows App Certification Kit Native Components-x64_en-us.msp.
What's more, maybe you need to repair your system file.
1. Open an elevated command prompt.
2. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:
sfc /scannow
The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.

Hi Anna,
Could it be that the installation of MS Visual C++ 2012 requires previous version of all the redistributable file maybe from 2005 onward till latest version?

Spent hours looking at this, in the end running
sfc /scannow
resolved the issue for me
