Question

Howdy,
I would like to use PowerPoint to show several videos. However, I would also like to be able to pause some of those videos and advance them one frame at a time to show things in slow motion. PowerPoint will let me advance a video by 0.25 seconds, but I don't see a way to go frame by frame. Is this possible? Thanks in advance.

Hi
I’m afraid we might not be able to play video frame by frame in PowerPoint with features built-in.
We can go for a piece of VBA code to display a video by every frame. But it’s a little complex.
We recommend you edit your video with a third-party software to get it played as you want, then insert the video.

Hey Tylor,
You confirmed my suspicions. Thanks for your time. Do you happen to know where I can submit a feature request to Microsoft?

Please click the smiley face at the top right corner? In Power Point or on this site? I don't see a smiley face anywhere.
