Hi,

The Windows Shell Experience Host is a windows app located in C:WindowsSystemAppsShellExperienceHost_* that deals with the windows user experience like the start menu, action center, jump view UI, quick connect UI, notifications, and animated clock and battery displays.

In that location there are various files that I think are for the UI and/or function of some Shell parts such as:
StartUI.dll - Start Menu/Start Screen
BatteryFlyoutExperience.dll - The flout you see when clicking on the battery notification icon in the taskbar.
ClockFlyoutExperience.dll - The flout you see when clicking on the clock in the taskbar.
NetworkUX.dll - The flout you see when clicking on the network notification icon in the taskbar.
JumpviewUI.dll - I'm not sure but I think this provides the menu shown when right clicking on a running app on the taskbar (it has pin/unpin options and a jump list for the app).
Windows.UI.ActionCenter.dll - The notifications pane and toast notifications that in Windows 10 is called Action Center (Different feature from the Windows 7/8 "Action Center" that was renamed to "Security and Maintenance" in Windows 10).

So it does not require a network connection and does not send and receive data?

Both this process and SearchUI is suspended and then I get a lock up or the PC freezes.  Now I read many post about this and what it seems to me is the Microsoft is working on it but has no reasons yet.  I think telling someone to clean install is like buying a BMW with no stereo or head lights.  Software is supposed to run on windows and as long as the drivers are Win 10 it's got to be a problem with windows it's self.  Now the only weird thing here is that I have IP6 turned off.  Also Vipre Internet security UI is not working at all so I can't set my network to home or public.
