How can I hide an specific tray icon using Registry?

Hi,

I want to hide a specific tray icon that is for an application that I've installed recently. I want to do that using the Registry. Is this possible to do that?

Hello,

You can use the Process Monitor tool for this.

First, open the tool and set filter for regsetvalue.

Second, set filter for SystemSettings.exe process or use its PID.

Now right click on taskbar > select Taskbar settings > Select which icons appears on taskbar > toggle On/Off the specific application try icon.

Note the registry value in Process Monitor.
