Renaming storage account on the fly

Hi,

Can we rename storage account on the fly without downtime using Azure Portal or PowerShell?

Later we can change connection string in our subscription.

Hello,

You cannot rename the storage account once it created.

You need to create a new storage account for a new name.

Command to copy from the old storage to the new storage

AzCopy /Source:https://oldstorage.blob.core.windows.net/oldstorage  /Dest:https://newstorage.blob.core.windows.net/newstorage  /SourceKey:sourcekey /DestKey:destkey /S /XO
