Hi
We have a Dell Poweredge R710 rack server running Hyper-V server 2008 as the OS, the problem is.... no one seems to know how much physical RAM the server actually has!!! It's easy to find out using a Windows OS, as you simply right click My Computer and select properties but I cant figure it out using the Hyper-V Manager???
Any advice would be very welcome, thanks.

Hi!
You can type systeminfo at the command prompt, and memory information should be included in the list.
Also, you can type taskmgr, this should bring up the task manager GUI. (I don't remember if this is possible on 2008, but you can on 2008 R2).

Hi Gary,
in the Hyper-V Manager you can't see the physical Memory.
Either right-click on My Computer as you said, run systeminfo or check it in the task manager.
Best Regards,
Jens

You can also run systeminfo /S hypervservername from a remote computers command prompt to obtain the information.

There's no "My Computer" with Hyper-V Server, it has no GUI interface, unless you install a 3rd party tool.
