Question

Hi
This error occur when I want to access any MSO 365 installed product. I have a Full MSO 365 enterprise licence which is active for my user name.
This error occurred after my user name had expired due to change of contracts however it was reinstated. I am assuming my credentials and licence was applied to the first user account and now it still has the old credential data and does not want to allow this new licence to be applied to my machine. None of your forums suggestions have helped so far. Is there perhaps a registry key that can be deleted which is causing this error. This is frustrating as I use most of my 365 products and cannot use full potential due to this error.

Hi,
Shut down Office software such as Outlook and set the following registry key. (Disables modern authentication)
Navigate to registry path:
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity\
REG_DWORD
EnableADAL
0
Also rename the folder here:
C:\users\dir\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h4txyewy
This needs to be done with the affected user logged off, ie log on as a different admin user or do it from a network share. The folder will get recreated when the user logs on next.
Start Outlook, you will need to enter password again, you will get asked to workplace join again "say yes to allow my organization to manage this device" it may still throw the 'Something went wrong, TPM error' but ignore this and Outlook should continue to load again. The TPM error will only occur once.
Regards
