Question

Hi,
I am not getting enough options to format waterfall chart (in MS PowerPoint - 2016).
eg:
1. To rotate axis labels, (No axis options are enabled)
2. Moreover I am even unable to change size of plot area. If I have longer text as x-axis labels, they some times get converted to dotted lines because of space constraint, that time have to change the plot area size, which I am unable to do.
Please suggest if there is any other way in new version to make these changes.
Regards,

Hi Vishal,
Thanks for your feedback.
Yes, I can reproduce your issue for Waterfall chart in Excel 2016. We cannot rotate the Axis label, the setting is grayed out for Waterfall chart:
As for changing the size of plot area, please change the Chart area as a workaround.
Maybe this is a limitation for Waterfall chart currently. If you change to change the plot area and rotate Axis for Chart, consider to use the Clustered Column chart to have a try.
Additionally, you can also submit the feedback in Excel Suggestion Box:

Hi Vishal85Naik,
This forum(Excel for Developers) is for development issues related to Excel Object Model and your problem is more related to PowerPoint product feature, so I would move this thread into Office 2013 and Office 365 ProPlus - IT Pro General Discussions.
Thanks for your understanding.
Best Regards,
Terry
