Office 2016 64 bits Proplus build version is 16.0.4266.1001

Hi there

We have tried to upgrade our office 2016 Proplus 64 bits version to 16.0.4738.1000 but could not find out how

i have updated our office to Feb 2019 office updates but still see the same version

This is msi not office365 

hope someone can help

Hi,

How did you install the latest updates for Office 2016?

I tested in my scenarios, after installing all updates from Windows updates I can upgrade my Office 2016 version number.

I suggest you go to Control Panel- Programs and Features- View Installed updates, please check if you have installed these updates KB succeffully:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4488446/february-2019-updates-for-microsoft-office

If you can find these updates KB in list, I suggest you try to restart PC.

If you cannot find it, try to download and install these updates manually.

Hi there,

I also have the same problem but my office is 32 bit. My Office 2016 Professional Plus 32 bit build number is 16.0.4266.1001. Since I am using an MSI installer from volume licensing website (
https://www.microsoft.com/Licensing/servicecenter/default.aspx) there is no update button under File>Account in Excel application. The system is also patched with the latest updates and there are no pending updates available to download and install. I have installed the Office 2016 Professional Plus 32 bit

But the build in Excel still shows 16.0.4266.1001 and not the latest one.
Can someone help us install the latest Office 2016 Professional Plus 32 bit please.
