I have looked through the other posts regarding this and have, as far as i can tell, done everything suggested.
All the packages i attempt to add to the DP all have the same problem.
Error Milestone S02 06/08/2012 16:27:29 wm-sccm12.****** SMS_DISTRIBUTION_MANAGER 2302 Distribution Manager failed to process package "CCCP" (package ID = S020000A). Possible cause: Distribution manager does not have access to either the package source directory or the distribution point. Solution: Verify that distribution manager can access the package source directory/distribution point. Possible cause: The package source directory contains files with long file names and the total length of the path exceeds the maximum length supported by the operating system. Solution: Reduce the number of folders defined for the package, shorten the filename, or consider bundling the files using a compression utility. Possible cause: There is not enough disk space available on the site server computer or the distribution point. Solution: Verify that there is enough free disk space available on the site server computer and on the distribution point. Possible cause: The package source directory contains files that might be in use by an active process. Solution: Close any processes that maybe using files in the source directory. If this failure persists, create an alternate copy of the source directory and update the package source to point to it.
distmgr.log has Failed to start DP health monitoring task for package 'S020000A'. Error code: -1 logged for each package on the DP.
The DP is installed on the MP and i have added the MP computer account and the Network Access Account to the local admin account on the MP. I have also added full control to all hard drives on the MP for both accounts.
There is over 500gb of storage and I have even copied the source program to the local HDD to ensure access
I have removed and re added the DP, i have even reinstalled windows and the whole site from scratch with a new site code and still get the same problem.
Each package gets the following logged for it in distman.log

I really am at a loss now, I hope someone can help.

Two initial things, have you installed any anti-virus software on the server? I've seen problems if you do. Also, I see "COMP="SMS_DISTRIBUTION_MANAGER" SYS=wm-sccm12.***** SITE=S02", it shouldn't be a problem but is your domain SLD?

I have no antivirus this time around, I did on the first install of windows but left it off this time.
As for the domain its an internal domain FDQN of the server is wm-sccm12.whitcliffemount.internal

Is the DP on the site server or remote?

Does that make any sense?

Had the same problem yesterday. Found this today, sorted out my problem. Give it a try.
