Question

We recently upgraded everyone's computers to Windows 8 and Outlook 2013. I have a few users that have multiple shared calendar mapped in their outlook that will not stay checked. If I open my calendar and check some shared calendars, close outlook, and re-open, the same calendar I had checked will stay checked. I have a few users who will check shared calendars, but every time they exit outlook and re-open only their own calendar is checked.

Hi,
By default, Outlook will remember the Calendars you chose last time and keep them checked the next time you open Outlook.
We may run Outlook with /cleanviews command-line to test the result:
Press Win + R and type “outlook.exe /cleanviews” in the blank box, then press Enter.
(Restores default views. All custom views you created are lost.)
We can also run Outlook in Safe Mode to determine if it's 3rd-party add-ins related:
Press Win + R and type “outlook.exe /safe” in the blank box, then press Enter.
Thanks,

Hi Melon,
This exact issue cropped up in our office today; we tried both of your solutions, and they did not work.
The calendar simply will not stay checked.
Thanks for your help,
Miles
Edit: I should clarify, closing and reopening does not help, the calendar checkmark blinks but will not stay selected.

I fixed this by repairing the default email in account settings and then waiting for everything to sync back up after a send / receive command via the mail setup menu launched from control panel.
