Windows task manager keeps opening on its own.

Simpy put windows task manager keeps opening on its own. Norton indicates this is not a virus related issue. This is extremely frustrating because it is CONSTANT. It s happened over 30 times just trying to type this post. It pops in front of whatever you have running interrupting you.  This is infuriating and making the computer near unusable. Please help.  (been happening for about 3 days, can't find a solution, no new software has been installed to provoke this.)

does this also happen in Safe Mode?

Hi Kentravyon,

I noticed you have performed a full scan with the antivirus software. Please try to perform a full scan in safe mode to improve the scan quality.

Try to perform a clean boot to troubleshoot whether the issue is caused by a third party service.

Unplug the keyboard in case there is something wrong with the keyboard. "Ctrl+Shift+ESC" could be used to open task manager directly.

Try to use the Autoruns tool to check for any suspicious entry.
