Hello,
in my Outlook 2013 profile / account encryption option ( encrypts traffic between Outlook & Exchange Server ) is greyed out.
I'd like to disable encryption. How can I do this ?
best regards Janusz Such

Hi,
Please check the registry key below:
Important Follow the steps in this section carefully. Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before you modify it, back up the registry for restoration in case problems occur.
Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\RPC
DWORD: EnableRPCEncryption
Is the DWORD available there? When its value is 1, the option "Encrypt data between Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange" is ticked and greyed out; when its value is 0, the option is unticked and greyed out.
If the DWORD is not available there, you should be able to tick it or untick it manually. You can remove this DWORD value then start Outlook to check the result.
