Hi,
How can I change the screen resolution in the Azure VM running Windows Server 2008 from my laptop which recommended screen resolution is 1920x1080 since the screen resolution of VM can't be changed from a remote session. Does it have other better way than changing the screen resolution into 1024 x 768 everytime I use the Azure VM from my laptop.
Regards,
Steven Hai

The most you will be able to change how the RDP session looks will be through the RDP session manager
Besides that, you cannot change the actual resolution settings of the Virtual Machine.
Personally, I don't see an issue when connecting via RDP to a VM on my laptop. Could you share some screenshots of what you are seeing?

Low resolution with big enough font size:
May I know how to change the display setting into high resolution with big enough font size since the display setting can't be changed from remote session. Can you change for me?

The only options you have to change the resolution for remote sessions are from the Remote Desktop Application as shown in my first comment. Besides that there is not a way to change the resolution.
