microsoft word requires the file msointl.dll to run. Run setup again to assure proper installation

Question

Hello,

I saw some discussions over the error:
"Microsoft word requires the file msointl.dll to run. Run setup again to assure proper installation",
but none seems to work for me now.

I get this error when trying to open a word document from Outlook email's attachment.
I have office 2013 but don't remember where is my original CD with the product key.
Any idea how to solve this?

Microsoft office word requires the file msointl.dll to run. Not sure what exactly you've tried so far. Before we perform a completely reinstallation, simply try a repair of your Office via Control Panel and see if this will correct the issue:

If issue persists, probably copy this specific .dll file from another computer and replace the faulty one on your PC, then verify result again.
