Hi Guys,
Problem is, earlier I created a Document Center site and configured the required webparts but later on analyze that this site should be created with Team Site Template rather then Document Center. So Question is can we convert Document Center Template To Team Site Template with all the webparts which we already configured in Document Center Template.
Is there any option available? please reply ASAP.
Thanks,
Fahad Khan

Hi,
I understand you than you want to change a Document center site to a Team site . There is no setting to change site template after the site is created. You can back up your site, create a new site using the template desired and then restore to that site.

Why can't you keep using the document center template? What are you missing that is available in a team site template?

Hi Fahad,
Document center can have all the webparts, lists or libraries that are available in the Team Site.
If you don't need the Document Center homepage, you can even set a new home page for it that have the same look as Team Site.
Hope this helps!!
