Question

I don't know if this is the correct forum and don't know the jargon. I have two computers running Windows 10. I need to work back and forth between computers. Can I set them up to be exactly the same, with all the same software, and when I make a change on one computer (e.g. add or modify a document), have it appear on the other computer?

Hi,
According to your description, I’m afraid that the build-in function couldn’t achieve it completely. You may need to use some software. The link below could give more information to you.

Or you could use the sync function in setting to check.
Always if we want to have two same computers environment, we could create an image from one machine, then install it to other machine. But it can’t automatic transfer the changes.
If we only want to sync the files and so on, I consider that you also could use Onedrive. You install the OneDrive application and can set it to take over your "My Documents" folder if you like. You can also sync other folders as required. Logging in using your Microsoft account on all computers will sync most settings.
Hope it will be helpful to you

Thanks, Carl. I have found that I will need to use some third-party software such as Allway Sync. Maybe OneDrive will work as well.
