Hi John,

Please try the steps below and see if this can help:

1. Go to File >Options > Add-Ins > Click "GO" at the Manage: COM Add-in, select the iCloud Outlook Add-in and hit Remove >OK.
2. Go to File > Account Setting drop down > Account Settings. Select the iCloud account you are having issues with and remove it.  Close Outlook once done.
3. Open Control Panel > Uninstall Programs > Select iCloud > Change > Remove
4. Restart your Computer.
5. Download the iCloud for Windows (icloudsetup.exe), proceed to setup iCloud for Outlook again. Restart Outlook.
6. In Outlook 2016, go to File >Options >Add-Ins >Click "GO" at the Manage: COM Add-ins >Add > add the APLXOD32.dll from your files. (You may need to search the whole drive for the dll file.)

7. Restart Outlook.

Hi John,

Please try the steps below and check if it can help:

Important Follow the steps in this section carefully. Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before you modify it, back up the registry for restoration in case problems occur. Please refer to this article about how to back up and restore the registry in Windows.

1. Press Win + R, type "regedit", press Enter to open the registry editor.
2. Select:

Computer/HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/OFFICE/OUTLOOK/ADDINS - Apple.DAV.Addin

3. On the right, double-click on LoadBehavior and check the value, set it to 3.

It it doesn't work, please try opening Outlook as administrator, remove the add-in and add it back. Then start Outlook as normal to check the result.

Any update, please post back at ease.

Regards,

Yuki Sun

Hi Yuki
thanks for your response.

Your suggestion:
Computer/HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/OFFICE/OUTLOOK/ADDINS - Apple.DAV.Addin

was not there.

I have on this spot following:
Computer/HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/OFFICE/OUTLOOK/AddinCrash
 - (Standard)

Computer/HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/OFFICE/OUTLOOK/AddinLoad
 -c:\program files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\internet Services\aplzod32.dll REG_WORD 0x5ab35bf1 (1521703921)
 -c:\program files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Root\ADDINS\ColleagueImport.dll
 -c:\program files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Root\ADDINS\UmOutlookAddin.dll
 -c:\program files (x86)\Microsoft Office\ONBttnOL.dll
 -c:\program files (x86)\Microsoft Office\SocialConnector.dll

Computer/HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/OFFICE/OUTLOOK/AddinUsage
 -c:\program files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\internet Services\aplzod32.dll REG_WORD 0x5aafc12b (1521467691)

When I start Outlook as Administrator iCloud is enabled. If I start Outlook normally iCloud is disabled.
I can then manually enable iCloud addin and it will work until I close Outlook again

Your suggestion:
It it doesn't work, please try opening Outlook as administrator, remove the add-in and add it back.
Then start Outlook as normal to check the result

The problem was still there

More information:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\Apple.DAV.Addin

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\Apple.DAV.Addin

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\Apple.DAV.Addin

LoadBehavior value = 3 on all of them

A hint would be nice

Best Regards
